Shama Mrema is an African-born American-raised comedian, host, actor and emcee. After taking the internet by storm in 2018 with his viral song “Veggie Tales Remix,” he has been a dominant force in comedy and entertainment.

After the success of “Veggie Tales Remix,” TBN created a spin-off show based on the song for Yippee TV. Where Shama starred and co-wrote music for the entire season, this was the beginning of a relationship with TBN that would culminate in Shama hosting the pre-show for the 52nd Annual Dove Awards and K-Love Fan Awards.
